Understanding and Avoiding Plagiarism: Welcome
Welcome to the UVA tutorial on plagiarism. Through completing this tutorial you will:
- learn to recognize what plagiarism is
- learn several techniques for avoiding it.
It will take you about 90 minutes to work your way through the tutorial. You may use the readings as additional resources to help you. You may write the quiz when you feel ready. Quizzes are assigned for Modules 1, 2, and 3 so that you can check your understanding of the material. Please pay special attention in Module 4 to the resources. There is no quiz for this module. In Module 4 you may wish to download some of the resources to save and use throughout your course work.
